Artist's Comments

Playing with colors and shapes in Collioure (France).
Maybe you find the orange building oversaturated. But in fact it is very close to the real color in the sunset. For the rest it is more a darkroom work than an attempt to render reality properly.
But as always, i hope you like it.

This kind of photo is something really new for me. 10mm is very very wide. And there are so many things that look strange or simply different with it.
Thanks for your comment.

sure thing..I think i commented to you once before..that your way of preparing color..loks very much like what we used to do 30 years ago via shooting photomicography film outdoors in daylight..it was an E-4 Ektachrome Reversal Process Film..and ISO 16 ( SIXTEEN NOT A TYPO FOR ONE HUNDRED & SIXTY ) yes Great Yellow Father / Mother Kodak made ISO 16 film...and in Tungsten 3200..it was awesome in Daylight !..much like how your images or some of them look !

Amazing colours, plus the sky looks fantastic :D

As you can imagine, this shot is heavily photoshoped to get those tones. In fact i didn't know it was possible to get such an effect with films. Good thing to know! :-)
